OT Rules are configured by R365 Support for each Location in the Database when the Location is created. These OT Rules define how Overtime is calculated when Labor Data is imported.

Location-specific OT Rules configured for the Database can be viewed on the Location page within Company Configuration.

Overtime Rules

All OT Rules have a 'Standard' version that looks across Locations when calculating Overtime. Some Rules also have a 'Standard Single' version that looks to each Location individually when calculating Overtime.

Standard Rules

These Rules combine the hours worked across all Locations when calculating Overtime:

Rule NameDescription
Standard Rule (1)Standard Rule - Over 40 hours in a work week is overtime, no double time.
CA Standard (4)Standard California Rule - Over 40 REGULAR (not total) hours in a work week is overtime.  Over 8 hours in a day is overtime.  Over 12 hours in a day is double time.  The 7th day worked in the work week is all overtime, over 8 hours on this day is double time.  This rule will have the effect of backfilling to 40 regular hours before the California stipulation that anything over 40 hours in a week is overtime kicks in.
