The Times by Hour Block report provides a comprehensive table displaying average prep time, bump time, and window time by station, broken down by hour block. Also included is the total number of orders placed by hour block per station.
“Prep Time” is the time it takes for the food to be cooked until it is ready to be served. “Bump Time” is the time it takes for the food to be cooked until it has been served. “Window Time” is the difference between the two, which equals the amount of time for the food to be served.
This report is useful for tracking not only the time it takes to prepare the food but also the time it takes for a server to serve the food. And by listing the total orders by station, this report can help in reviewing the performance of a select station.
