The Ordering Guide report displays the last ordered quantity per vendor purchase item (VPI) to help you determine (based off your par and on-hand amounts) how much to order. 

Report Usage 

This report is useful when determining how much of a particular VPI to order. Unlike the Suggested Ordering report, however, this report displays your last order quantity but does not calculate the “to order” value. 

For example, it has been established that a location needs 3 cases of apples a week (1 case = 7 lbs). So, par = 3. If you have half a case in inventory (displayed as your on-hand value) and “1” as your last ordered value, you would theoretically need to order an additional 1.5 cases in order to meet your par value. 

Report Features 

• Filter by location. 
• Filter by ordered date. 
• Filter by vendor. As with any other auto-fill field, selections that match your typed information will appear as you type. 
• Filter by purchase order template. 
• This report can be viewed/exported in various formats. It can also be directly emailed.
