RADAR tracks three main metrics for count comparisons: Checks, Guests, and Entrees. While the first two are generally taken from your POS, Entrée Definitions are configured on this page. 


The Entrée Definitions page allows you to configure your entrees at the sale department level or at the item level. If you would like to track your entrees at the item level, please contact your Site Administrator.



Basic Usage 

  • Assign - To include a sale department in entrée count calculations, select one or more sale departments the “Available” column. (Select multiple sale departments by holding down the Control key on the keyboard while making your selections.) Next, select the icon to add the sale department (s) to the “Assigned” column. Note: Every item sold within the sale department will be treated as 1 entrée
  • Remove - To remove a sale department from entrée count calculations, select a sale department in the “Assigned” section and select the icon. This will move the sale department to the “Available” column
  • RECALCULATE ENTREE VALUES - Once you have made your changes, select RECALCULATE ENTREE VALUES to apply your changes to prior history. Upon selection, a new window will appear
  • From/To - Select the date range for which to recalculate your changes by either typing the desired date into the fields or by selecting the calendar icons and navigating to the desired days
  • Confirmation Email - Enter the email address to which you would like a confirmation email sent
  • RECALCULATE/CANCEL - Select RECALCULATE to recalculate your entrée item counts or CANCEL to close the window without recalculating



Search Entrees and Define Values 

The “Search Entrees and Define Values” section appears on the right side of the page. This section allows you to search for items and edit count value information. To search for entrees and define values, select from the following: 

  • Master Sale Department - Select the master sale department of the entrees for which you are searching
  • Sale Department - Select the sale department of the entrees for which you are searching
  • Last Sold - To search for entrees sold during a particular time period, select an option in this field. “All” will be selected by default
  • SEARCH - Select SEARCH to view all results that match your search criteria. The Items table: Upon selecting SEARCH, the Items table will appear. This table displays the name and sale department of each item. It also allows you to enter a value for each item
  • Value - If you would like to add an item to the entrée calculation, enter a value other than 0 into the text box. Note: You are not limited to a value of 1; fractional values, like 0.5, or multiple values, like 2.0, will work as well. For example, if you sell a large pizza that feeds four, you can enter “4” as the entrée count value
  • SAVE - Select SAVE to save any changes made to the Items table



Current Entrée Values 


The “Current Entrée Values” table appears on the left side of the page. This table displays the item name and value for each item that is currently included in the entrée count calculations.

  • Rows per Page - Adjust the size the Current Entre Values table by selecting the number of items to show per page. “25” will be selected by default
  • Edit - Selecting the pencil icon will allow you to edit an item’s value. To remove the item, set the entrée value to zero. Be sure to select UPDATE to commit your changes
  • RECALCULATE ENTRÉE VALUES - Once you have made your changes, select RECALCULATE ENTRÉE VALUES to apply your changes to prior history. Upon selection a new window will appear
  • From/To - Select the date range for which to recalculate your changes by either typing the desired date into the fields or by selecting the calendar icons and navigating to the desired days
  • Confirmation Email - Enter the email address to which you would like a confirmation email sent
  • RECALCULATE/CANCEL - Select RECALCULATE to recalculate your entrée item counts or CANCEL to close the window without recalculating
  • EXPORT CURRENT ENTRÉE VALUES - Select EXPORT CURRENT ENTRÉE VALUES to export the Current Entrée Values table to Microsoft Excel
