The Forecast Settings page allows you to customize some of the settings of the Forecast Entry page. For example, if you would like to hide the SPLIT button on the Forecast Entry page, you would come to the Forecasts Settings page to make that adjustment. 


Basic Usage 

  • Edit - When the Forecasts Settings page opens, you can view the setup of each option; however, you must select the Edit button in order to make changes. Once you select Edit, the options on the page will become customizable
  • Hide Split button? - Selecting this option will hide the SPLIT button on the Forecast Entry page. Deselecting this option will allow the SPLIT button to be shown and active on the Forecasts Entry page
  • Hide Same button? - Selecting this option will hide the SAME button on the Forecast Entry page. Deselecting this option will allow the SAME button to be shown and active on the Forecast Entry page
  • Show Day of Week Trend Checked? - If this setting is enabled, the Day of Week Trend versus Last Year table will be automatically loaded upon navigating to the Forecast Entry page and selecting a specific forecast metric. If you utilize 5 week periods, default loading the last 5 week period? Selecting this option will display the five previous week periods (instead of four)
  • Prior Year Calculations - Select whether or not prior year values are calculated at -364 or by the same period number
  • Hide Weight button? - Selecting this option will hide the WEIGHT button on the Forecast Entry page. Deselecting this option will allow the WEIGHT button to be shown and active on the Forecast Entry page
  • Lockout Style - This allows you to prevent users from adding/editing forecasts for a specified time period. The available Lockout Styles are: 
    • Current and Prior weeks locked out - Prevents users from adding/editing forecasts for prior weeks and the current week
    • Prior Periods + Current and Next week locked out - Prevents users from adding/editing forecasts for prior periods, the current week, and next week
    • Prior Periods + Today + 7 days locked out - Prevents users from adding/editing forecasts for prior periods, the current day, and seven days following the current day
    • After 4th day of Current Week - Prevents users from adding/editing forecasts anytime after the fourth day of the current week
  • SAVE - Saves the changes you made
  • CANCEL - Cancels any changes you made
